Friend Bakery and Pizza — Restaurant in Winnipeg

We had the best experience at Friend Bakery and Pizza, yesterday evening, as first time customers! We are Italian, so definitely pizza critics, too!🍕🤤 But we were so impressed! Your pizza was one of the best we’ve had in the city! The crust was the perfect balance of crisp and chewy, not greasy at all, sauce was incredible, and overall infusion of flavours was delicious. Loved the New York Style, too! 😋 And your brown sugar chocolate chip cookies and cinnamon knots were delectable! Staff was incredibly kind, as well! My only wish is for you to carry pizzas all day every day so we can eat more at all hours lol, but we realize that this is what makes you guys unique! Please pass along these comments to your staff! First let me state I take my reviews seriously. I rarely do them unless I was truly moved by the business. I was next door getting my daughter a cookie and asked her if she wanted to go try a new pizza place. We walked in and were immediately greeted and surprised at how cozy this spot was. The staff was super friendly and fun. They helped me pick a pizza with honey on it (the only way to eat pizza) The staff member joked with my daughter and took our order. We waited for our food and my daughter played with some cool toys they had. Until pizza arrived. Got home ate the pizza.... Top 3 pizzas I have ever had. This place is a must try! Don't...

The food is really good. But I have been three times and the offering has been inconsistent each time, and too many rules.

Later in the afternoon, only bread is available. Too early in the morning, and bread isn’t ready until around noon. Pizza after 5 PM, but only 40 of them.

And when you come in for bread, and they don’t have it so you buy other baked items, their Marketing and Business Manager Drew McGillawee refuses to stamp their bread...
