Gondola Pizza South St. Vital, Royal Wood, Island Lakes, Sage Creek, River Park South, Normand Park — Restaurant in Winnipeg

First off, The pizza is great, customer service, not so much. I've been a customer here for the past 20-ish years.. and 99 % of the time, pizza is great. They don't skimp on the toppings, and usually get the orders out pretty quick. I recently ordered a pizza, in which it took an hour and a half to be delivered to my place less than five minutes away (I could've walked there and picked it up quicker than their delivery drivers). My delivery driver showed up, told me he "didn't have change, and that it was only a few bucks, and to live with it". I got my pizza, called the manager, the delivery driver then showed up to my place 10 minutes later, handed me change, didn't say a single word, then drove off. No apology for being late, no discount, and i'm saddened to say that I will never ever order from here ever again, pick up or delivery. Best advice I can give you is don't bother ordering delivery, unless you have a lot of time to waste. I love Gondola pizza, and have ordered from every single one in Winnipeg at one time or another over the past 20 years, and this one has to have been the worst customer...

After my classes a few weeks ago I came there to get something to eat with some colleges.. I came there waited outside till 4.30 when they open at 4.00. I waited outside then when the manager came he needed till 5.00 to get ready. They made me wait outside they said they couldn't let me inside it was -40c. I ordered my pizza and something else. I waited 45min.... when I came back to get it.. They said they gave it to somebody else by mistake..they make another the Coworker drops it..... I finally get my pizza at 7.30pm Really good pizza but bad service and coustumer treatment. I've been a Gondola customer for a few Year.... I don't think il be stopping there lately again.

Ordered a pizza over the phone, asked about specials and was told to go look online for the details of current specials. So I placed an order for a large bacon, pepperoni, Italian sausage and mushrooms pizza for take out. I arrived to pick up pizza and they had no record of it, although they remembered taking my order.... asked if I would wait another 15 mins so they could make another pizza, no mention of it being complimentary or a discount or anything... I have been a fan of Gondola pizza for about 25 years, and this experience really puts a sour taste in my mouth. I am hoping after reading this review, Gondola tries to make...
