I recently visited KFC and overall had a very positive experience. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the cleanliness and organization of the space. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff were polite, attentive, and seemed genuinely interested in helping customers. While it wasn’t a perfect visit, it came very close — hence the 4-star rating.
One of the standout aspects of my visit was the customer service. The staff member who assisted me was knowledgeable, patient, and took the time to explain my options clearly. They made helpful suggestions without being pushy, which I really appreciated. It’s clear that customer satisfaction is important to the team here.
The layout of the store (or restaurant/office/etc.) was also commendable. Everything was easy to find, and the overall environment was clean and well-maintained. It felt like a space that’s both well-managed and cared for. I also noticed that safety protocols were being followed, which added to the sense of professionalism.
The reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 comes down to a couple of small things that slightly impacted the experience. First, the wait time was a bit longer than expected. It wasn’t excessive, but I did have to wait around 10 mins, Secondly, there was a slight issue with payment — it took a while to process, and I had to try a second card before it went through, even though both were valid. While it was eventually resolved, it caused a bit of unnecessary stress.
Despite those minor hiccups, I would definitely recommend KFC to others and would return myself. The positives far outweighed the negatives, and I genuinely appreciated the care shown by the staff and the overall quality of service. With just a bit more attention to efficiency, this place could easily be a 5-star experience. Keep up...

Had to wait 30 minutes for food. Late night Drive-through attendant repeated order back, but still messed it up. Late night Manager blatantly lied twice, once saying it was only 15 minutes and secondly saying order was repeated accurately to cover for staff and her extremely poor management skills. Then refused to correct their mistakes and closed D/T window. I urge higher management to listen or watch video, as there was no justified reason for this.
I don’t understand how people are placed in management positions when they simply cannot identify a problem, apologize and offer a solution, rather they make things about themselves by taking a complaint personally.
KFC in Winnipeg has long been going downhill and while the food is OK, staffing needs a major overhaul. That being said, so long as people still have to eat I suppose this is why some of these restaurants get away with terrible service. As the old saying goes, there’s no bad students just bad teachers… The problem goes right up the ladder as I wasted an hour and a half on the phone with head office talking to a similar pass the buck/run around CSR and never received my requested call back from a supervisor/head manager.
I will wager there will be no response or follow up to this problem but should there be, you will see an amended review. It’s truly unfortunate how we have to deal with these...
Read moreToday I pre-ordered a feast, the establishment says there open 24 hours but doesn't stipulate they mean the drive thru is. They open at 1030 am which the doors were still locked at 1034am. I had to go to the drive thru window to ask if they would open the doors as I had an order I pre-order for 1045am. I go inside and see the chicken in a bucket in the warmer area, the guy is pulling chicken out of a take out bucket and is putting some of the pieces in my boxes as I had 12 pieces. Than they inform me the fryer is broken and there isn't any fries and if I want something else like salad. I asked them how long the fryer was down and she said a few hours, we'll they could of called me to inform me this before I waited there a half hour before the doors opened. This establishment is really not on top of there game. Understand things breakdown. But knowing it's broken and they have my phone # as it's attached to the KFC app order is rediculous. Definitely not a good place to go. The manager gave me a few pieces of chicken as I'm sorry scenario and it definitely wasn't fresh. I couldn't even take my order and get the fries subtracted out as a refund. She said they can't do that. Waste of time. Just go to Mary Browns, or somewhere else. KFC was good back in the good old...
