Friend came from 5 hours away. Thought i would try Kilter and treat them to something different. At least there beers are dicent. Went for lunch, asked for menu waitress said on the table, only customers in the place and you have to go to the counter to give your order not much of a menu only menu item we saw where choice of hot dogs which where ok nothing special that I couldn't have made my self at home and some convenience store snack, i thought maybe some home made tortilla chips not just some chips dumped out of a bag queso looked and tasted from a jar. The place didn't feel very welcome. Lots of staff are sitting around cold and sterile. And when you pay, before you get your food, they want you to tip. Tip for what same experience i could have gotten from Mc. Ds. Will not be returning. I would not recommend it. They will be closed in 2 years or less if management continues this...

When asked for an explanation it was because another member of our group appeared to have been over-served and therefore he was guilty by association. Our friend who they had over-served was already leaving with a designated driver. As a non-drinker, I wonder if they'd have "cut me off" if I went up with the same friend trying to buy a drink for my wife. Of course you'll end up with patrons who may become intoxicated. You only serve...
Read moreKilter is definitely my favourite taproom in Winnipeg. Fun and cozy tropical vibes, a big and welcoming space, and friendly staff. Oh, and the beer is fantastic. We frequently ordered beer through the convenient home delivery option during the pandemic, and have enjoyed visiting the taproom on a regular basis since things have been cautiously opening. You can always count on Kilter to come out with must-try exciting and flavourful releases on a regular basis, as well as collabs with other local food and drink vendors. They’ve also been enhancing their taproom experience by adding game nights, n64 tournaments and a projector for live sports. If you make your way there - be sure to try a glass of Juicii (one of our favourite beers), one of their tasty sandwiches, and the...
