I signed up in the app for rewards and made an order to pick up in the store. After my order was placed, the app confirmed to pick up inside as the location didn't close until 11pm. When we got to the restaurant, shortly after 10pm, the doors were locked and signs said the lobby closed at 10. An employee saw us through the door, looking confused, and pointed for us to walk around the building to the drive thru. A second employee who was taking out the trash saw us and confirmed that we should just walk through the drive thru (that currently had a vehicle in it). We waited behind the vehicle as far to the side as we could while still being as visible as possible (another vehicle pulled up behind us while we waited) and walked to the window when it was our turn.
When I showed my order confirmation, we were told they had an order for those items but under the name "DQ U", I also saw that the app had signed me out somewhere in the order process and had put it through under the default name (DQ User). I had since re-signed back into the app so it showed my name but the pick up items matched so the employee at the window reluctantly gave us our order. I asked for a receipt and she said she didn't have a receipt for my order, just the DQ U one and gave that to me. I tried to do their survey online but the receipt I was given didn't work, though I was able to recover my rewards points by scanning the barcode in the app.
I understand closing the lobby at 10 but it's not listed anywhere in the app and when I originally searched for the hours, 11pm was listed as closing time. If the lobby is closed at 10pm, why does the app allow for pick up orders inside after 10pm? It's also incredibly dangerous to encourage pedestrians to walk through the drivethru at night. I would have given service 1 star if it wasn't for the employee eventually giving us our order when the app used the...
Read moreVisited this location tonight with husband, very disappointing. First the cashier was taking my order then another employee came up to her and started talking in another language, so she stopped listening to me. Then I repeated a second time my order, but she didn't hear me again because of her headset, so I repeated. Third time, she got the 2 chicken wraps, then said is that everything? I said no I'm not finished - ordered 2 small blizzards for the BOGO for 1.99 through the app. The app wouldn't read my barcode so had to give her a code, and asked to have our blizzards after we ate (dining in)....our order was ready within 2 mins...we went to sit down by the back but it was an overwhelming smell from the bathrooms absolutely disgusting. Every table/booth needed to be wiped so we opted for the handicap table by the door. Me & husband took a bite of the wraps and they were cold. I took them back to one of the employees (I assume someone who was cooking) and told him we would like new ones they aren't hot. So he said no problem..took the wraps to the back and all the employees stood around looking at our food speaking in another language (cashier who took our order is looking at me). So I go sit down.....10 mins later fresh wraps come out. Hot this time way better. Got our blizzards after eating, which where good but noticed the staff just standing around in the back talking. My biggest complaint is the fact you shouldn't be speaking another language (which I assume is punjabi) discussing our order or others orders..no need for that. Go clean the store front when you have no customers. Make it look presentable. And CHECK YOUR TEMPS /EXPIRING TIME - YOULL MAKE...
Read morePast 2 or 3 times we've gone, the drive through service for blizzards has been very slow and the staff haven't been very respectful. The last time we went (2 weeks ago) we asked if we could use a BOGO blizzard coupon we got in the mail. It had not expired but the server told us that location did not accept coupons. We honestly were ok with not being able to use the coupon, but we were told by the server "you need to learn to read the coupons before coming". We honestly did not give any attitude to not being able to use coupons but we sensed the server was defensive and rude after we asked. We went to another location in Winnipeg yesterday and the service was so much quicker (and there drive through was much busier than this location), the other location even have my dogs free ice cream, and we could use our coupon there! Not sure now why we couldn't use our coupon...
