This was the worst experience EVER!!! Went to the place cause it said it was open online, got there and it was closed. Very disappointed. Then decided to try again after seeing some activity on instagram. Got there waited in line and the first problem was its sooo over priced, there was no tap and an extra 5$ for card payment, so pretty much they want you to pay cash. Secondly customer service was not the best, paid over $50 and the food was disappointing. The strawberry’s were rotten and tastes like there were chemicals on them. The croissant was mushy tasted worse than super store croissant. The on the croissant was a disappointment to the French culture as it was very oily and the aftertaste would not go away. Had to throw it all out as I didnt want to wait another 45min for a refund. I came to this bake shop in August (2023) for my nieces bday as she likes their chocolate cake. I was the only one in the bake shop and was looking at the various goodies they had. I was intrigued with their “dream cake” and wanted to know what it was. The lady was on her phone the entire time and proceeded to tell me to “look at the corner of the display glass. The description of the cake is there, just read it.” Then asked “so will it be debit or cash?” I was the only one in the store and the employee/owner couldn’t take the time to explain what the cake was? Then asking if I would be paying in cash or debit with a tone, as if she’s rushing me to get out of the store as she has other things to do. NEVER again will I come here and give them...

Tried the famous Dubai chocolate strawberries and the croissant, got to say both were amazing! Kunafa was crunchy, the pistachio paste was not overly sweet and actually tasted like pistachio, I find other places in Winnipeg taste more like peanut butter. Chocolate was good quality, strawberries were about as good as you can get for this time of year in Winnipeg. I especially like how there was a lot of the crunchy pistachio paste. It definitely makes it worth the price. I would love to see a mini Strawberry cup come out in the future as the regular size is quite filling.
