On Sunday August 31st, 2025 at approximately 8:45pm, i walked into Logan Corner restaurant and requested for a deluxe fried rice Dine in. I was told by the clown behind the counter that i would not be able to Dine in as i was alone and they did not have no smaller sitting tables. I told him i do not mind sharing a table with other people, but he was adamant and said no way i could Dine-in. There was an empty table with one chair, i asked him if i could make use of that and he said no, that one had been booked. So i asked him again, why should i not use one of the big tables to just dine-in. He was again adamant and said the huge tables are not meant for one person. But they are currently unoccupied and i would have finished eating in under 20minutes. He again sad no that he would not allow me to use them. I asked him whether he was hearing himself and if he knew which country he was in. Instead he continued saying i cannot allow you to dine-in. I felt racially abused and if i was a Chinese national that would not have happened. I walked out and crossed the street to Kum Koon Garden and i was accorded a VIP treatment. I was informed that there was a party going on and they were sorry for the loud noise. I was seated in a table of four, given a menu and i order what i wanted. I enjoyed my meal and even when i was leaving the senior behind the cash till was still apologizing to me for the noise due to the on going party. Logan Corner Restaurant, i would never step foot in your establishment again and i would be filing a complaint to the Human Rights Commission for...

My only complain is the place needs cleaning and maintenance. Came here just after they opened around 11:15am. The plates were dirty with some sticky and black residue. The cutleries look dirty too, I had to dip them in the hot water they provided and wiped off with tissue. The table needs some wiping too, dirty and sticky residue. I had to use my own sanitizing wipes to wipe and clean off the table. Their washroom mirror is so dirty and blurry.
But food-wise, I always get their Beef Fried Rice (no soy sauce) and Beef Chow Mein and it always tastes good.
Ordered here a couple of times via DoorDash delivery since the pandemic and always tastes good everytime. Always satisfied and full.
The Pan-Fried Shrimp, Shrimp with Chinese Scrambled Eggs, Pan-Fried Long-Li Fish Fillet with Green Onion Ginger Soy Sauce, Pan-Fried Fish Fillet with Spice Salt, and Crispy Spring Chicken, are also good here.
Their soups are amazing too! Highly recommend the minced beef and tofu soup and crab meat and fish maw soup and minced chicken and fish maw.
Not expensive and big portions. Also their food is not salty and oily unlike other Chinese places...
Read moreIt has been a while since we ordered from here at work, and a few year's ago it was the ok place to get a good lunch.
But we ordered something on monday, and the food was kind of gross.
We ordered two combo dishes, and had no problem with the meat or vegatables... however the fried rice tasted burnt and very funky old... and by funky old.. I mean it tasted like they cooked it saturday then re-heated it for monday.
My combo came with an egg-roll, but I ordered an additonal egg-roll
and both of them looked deflated like they were deep fried and tossed in a fridge then microwaved later.
We ordered by Uber and the food came within 20 minutes or less, like everything was pre-made and reheated.
Both of us had to toss the funky burned rice out, and I would say to this restaurant please make some effort... Cooking food for patron's who pay for it deserve better.
I have a small bottle of Kikkoman soy sauce in a fridge at work, and I poured it on that fried rice, but even Kikkoman could not disguise that horrible taste of bad, old and days...
