I am appalled by the tone and content of your response. It's evident that instead of taking customer feedback seriously, you prefer to insult and deflect blame.
Timing of the Complaint: Expecting immediate complaints is absurd. Issues can arise after consumption, and your insinuation that this invalidates our concern is laughable.
Quality and Safety: Your regular inspections mean nothing if customers experience problems. Clearly, something slipped through your supposed rigorous checks. Claiming otherwise is just arrogant and dismissive.
Customer Service: Suggesting that we no longer visit your bakery because we raised a concern is not only unprofessional but pathetically childish. Do you honestly believe that dismissing dissatisfied customers will help your business thrive?
Every day you sell 100 cake and 100 pastries, but you did not know when there is a complaint how to handle that one. It means your focus is only on sales, not customer retention or customer satisfaction.

Read moreWorst cake i have ever tasted. So, i customized cake from this Manohar bakery for my husband. They charged me $50.00 for that also drove 30 mins to pickup this disgusting cake. When we tasted the cake it tasted like food colouring( supposed to be a pineapple cake). The centre was not sweet enough and little dry. I called the shop to complaint about it. They said every person’s taste buds are unique( so informative by the way) and nothing’s wrong with that cake. When i asked them how they were going to fix the problem they said the cake was non- refundable and nothing can be done. On top of everything they hung up on me, so unprofessional. I would never recommend this bakery to anyone. Honestly ruined my day. I wish i had gone to some other bakery. I literally wasted so much time resenting myself for choosing them and not to forget wastage of food. Well i hope it made them happy. I wanted to go back and throw that cake back in the shop but then my husband told me its pointless. These kind of people are shameless. Well learnt my lesson, never recommending this...

I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the chocolate cake I purchased from your Unit-1 location at 96 Mandalay Dr, Winnipeg, MB R2P 1V8, on July 1, 2024. Unfortunately, the cake was far from what I expected and hoped for.
When I ordered the chocolate cake, I anticipated a delicious, sweet treat to celebrate a special occasion. However, upon cutting the cake, I discovered that it was made of dark chocolate, which was excessively bitter. This bitterness was so overwhelming that it ruined the entire celebration, leaving my guests and me dissatisfied and disappointed.
Given the negative experience and the ruined occasion, I kindly request that you offer compensation for this unfortunate incident. A refund or a replacement cake of better quality would be appreciated.
