I first came to Pasquale's about 10 years ago for a friend's birthday party and remembered it being great, so I was excited to come back on date night and see how it held up. I was delighted to find out it's just as good as I remember!

We made a reservation for a Saturday night, which we later found out was a good idea since they were all booked up and could no longer accept walk-ins. We got a cozy table near the back of the restaurant and our server was very friendly and attentive. My partner ordered the original sangria (which was delicious - I kept stealing sips) and we got cheese toast to start, which was freshly baked and sooo yummy! Our mains were the penne rose and fettuccine pollo lemone and we were very very happy with our choices! My partner kept raving about the rosé sauce and I was in love with the limoncello cream in my dish. (We also got some complimentary fresh focaccia that I did NOT have room for but ate anyway because you can't just go to an Italian restaurant and say no to bread.)

After we stuffed ourselves with as much pasta as we could (we each still had a good half-bowl leftover for lunch tomorrow 😋), our server appeared like magic with some takeout containers when she noticed we had slowed down which I thought was a very thoughtful gesture! And I couldn't resist getting some cannoli to eat at home later.

Overall everything was wonderful - amazing food, reasonable prices, excellent service and atmosphere. I have zero complaints and hope to come back again...

My wife and I had a late dinner at Pasquale's Jan 26th, 2019. We had been talking about going there since we drive past it daily, for a couple of years and finally decided to just go. Appetizers were deep fried risotto balls and panfritta's (or "little clouds of heaven" as my wife now calls them). I had the 3 course meal they currently have and also chose the Caesar salad and Fettucine Pollo Alfredo. My wife ordered the Fettucine Pollo Fuhn-something or other (Fettucine with chicken, mushroom and Marsala sauce). It came with a couple of little loaves of bread. Everything was excellent. We both tried all the dishes and liked them all. The Alfredo Sauce was a little different than I've ever had and was quite pleasant, I'd say the same for the Caesar dressing. Portions are quite large. I'm a big guy and went in hungry and still left with enough for another meal, as did my wife. I commented several times that their menu prices seemed cheaper than I expected on most items by about $5, which I found impressive considering the portion size and how tasty it was.

We used to get pizza from Pasquale's but hadn't dinned inside in almost 10 years, but we're making it a regular on our outings list.

Our server was very friendly and attentive (the poor girl banged her head on a shelf while we were there and toughed her way through it like nothing happened).

It was a great overall experience and I would...

We celebrated a special birthday dinner and decided to try this Winnipeg legacy restaurant. We snagged a spot on the rooftop patio, which had a cozy feel. We didn’t spend much time inside, but from what we saw, the interior looked clean but the main floor lighting seemed very bright, so it may not be ideal if you're planning a more intimate or special occasion meal. Also, add extra time to try to find parking. Parking is an issue.

As for the food, everything was delicious! The calamari was tender and served in a standard portion. I had the Antipasto salad, which was flavourful and the soup was overflowing. Both of our pasta entrées were very tasty; the Sambuca Chili Cream Pasta was creamy, rich, and just the right amount of spicy, while the other entrée had a tomato sauce that was truly next level. The bread bowl was appreciated as we waited in between courses. The price point for each of the dishes was appreciated and the food was very good.

I must note that service was very slow. Even with a reservation, we were seated and were left waiting at the table for almost 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. However, the service picked up a bit after that, and our server was friendly and kind.

Overall, if you're in the mood for a delicious, home-cooked Italian meal, give...

Well i had made a reservation online on open table due to my work schedule I got it to work. I got in 15mins before my reservation and was seated. My server was Danielle, I was given the bread and oils for dipping. The oil pairing was great with the bread My appetizer was the Calamari Friti, was the only thing that I felt was quite generic calamari, wasn't bad just very generic. The presentation of the the calamari was very presentable. The main course was the Cannelloni di Ricotta and I added spicy marinara, with crumbled Italian sausage and feta ontop. Was extremely filling and was simply pleased with the portion and flavors. Finally for dessert I ordered the Tiramusi. Was a tad warm but was a great texture and was definitely something to clear my palate from the other food. Danielle was great and came to constantly check on me and asking me how each dishes were. And made sure I had refills on beverage as well as asking if I needed anything else. The atmosphere was quiet and resturant was clean. So besides the calamari being generic the in house bread, Cannelloni di Ricotta, and Tiramusi were outstanding dishes. And the service was very good, I haven't had a server like that on the ball and busy on their feet making their rounds. All of the staff were friendly and professional.
