Spanky's Pizza — Restaurant in Winnipeg

We live about 5 mins of a walk away from this place so my husband and I decided to check it out as we were new in the area and were really hungry. It was later in the afternoon on like a Tuesday and it looked like it was closed. I told him to go check to see if it was open and the door was locked. As we were leaving a person came up to the door and saw my husband standing there so we asked if it was open and he rudely shook his head no without any explanation whatsoever. This is a problem because the hours of operation says it was SUPPOSED to be open. And when we drove away and came back no more than 5 minutes later because we had to pick up my son from school, the open sign was on. Super rude and sketchy. Never going...

Horrible place the people that run this place no nothing about business ethics . They have kids under 10 running around in there bar during business hours, they pick and choose who they want to bar for no reason even if it involves someone defending themselves, the waitress a close friend of ours has had her tips taken to "teach her a lesson " and if you talk to her or become friends with her you will get bared. For a place that deals with the public they do not care about how you are treated as a paying customer. Do not attend this bar people, the owner is abusive, rude to customers and if you get along with the waitress or try to become friends with her he will bar you for life, no joke. My friends and I are the victims of his childish behaviour when my boyfriend was attacked there one night, we were all bared in result of the attack even though we were not at fault for it, some of us not even there that night but yet still barred. Owner is very rude to customers and the waitress there. He will freak out on you for no reason and in the end bar you for life lol...he is a joke with very poor customer...
