Subway — Restaurant in Winnipeg

I stopped in on a cold, windy Saturday afternoon walk to warm up with some Chicken Noodle Soup and impulsively added a Chicken Mighty Melt and Salad Combo to my order. The staff was soft spoken, polite and patient with me. I gave my requests one by one for an assortment of the available vegetables (lettuce, spinach, pickles, green pepper, tomato, hot banana pepper, jalapeño pepper, purple onion, cucumber) for the salad and a few for the sandwich after it was toasted to melt my requested Swiss cheese over the requested rotisserie style chicken morsels. A dash of pepper and Sweet Onion dressing on both of my sandwich and salad. The Melt and Salad Combo is a good value for the CA$6. The soup broth was flavourful without being overly salty, nice recognizable carrot slices, bite sized chicken morsels and plump, interestingly shaped noodles. A good choice today for warming up inside and out. The alternative soup option of Tomato Basil was tempting. Maybe if I was more of a fan of Country Music, I'd have enjoyed the radio station being played softly over the dining area. I ate too quickly to take a photo of my good...

Very poor service from all staff members. Especially when dealing with the female in the photo. They did not have their name tags present and would not share their names so this was my last option. They claimed to not know their owner/managers name as well so I have inconveniently been forced to hunt that down only to make a lousy complaint on a job that you applied to do.

It was normal interaction until I requested extra mayo, The mayo tube was very low and almost empty but I requested extra and she simply did not want to grab another tube?? The man working with her was not much help also and just stared into the abyss when spoken too. He kept hiding when I was requesting any kind of helpful information. I ended up leaving my mayo less sub and drove to another location.

1820 main and the same thing happened, mayo was low, I requested more and only this time, the employee simply turned around to the fridge and grabbed another mayo bottle and made the sub with extra mayo, so at least someone can...

This is the second time I had a bad experience with the same 2 guys.

I placed my order. I asked for my sandwich to be in a separate bag from my husband's. The other guy doung the online orders grabbed it and wrote Julie on the bag. I told him it was mine and not Julie's. He was quick to say no no no that's online order.

Ok. When it was time to pay. My husband paid while I checked and like I said it was not my sandwich. The younger tall guy was laughing and they started to speak in their language.

I made a comment that I feel bad Julie paid for her order and it will be the wrong one. He said oh don't worry she will get refunded. I asked if I will be refunded and they laughed and saud no you get a new sandwich. Then again speaking in their language. I spoke up and said English please.

I didnt speak about the other experiences but this time I just can't.

I told him that was nice and not hers. Just to be quickly shut down. And laughed at. Yet...
