I went to this little place in the north end in Winnipeg! Doesn’t look like much on the outside but boy was it amazing. I stumbled up it looking for good burgers. I. Am on keto so I figured with homemade burgers that look like the pics I could easily be full without a bun!!! I ordered the king which was way too big lol! Delicious and price was amazing. I asked them for no bun and they offered to be served as a lettuce burger!! Going back for sure! My son ordered fish and chips he loved it and my other son ordered the king burger as well! Took home a double bacon cheeseburger for my husband and everyone was extremely impressed! This place is really a gem of Point Douglas and the North End of Winnipeg! I ALWAYS have a great experience here! The food is good, reasonably priced and the portion sizes fill me up well. I usually go in the afternoon or evening, and it's always pretty chill; I've never seen it be super busy in there, but it sounds like there may be more customers there for breakfast and lunch.

The staff is super friendly and caring! Always so pleasant, serve with a smile, and check on me during my stay to make sure everything is good and I have everything I need. Just had the most incredible meal at Newcastle Restaurant! I can't say enough about the hamburger steak. It was perfectly cooked and so incredibly flavorful, a real standout dish. The fries were a perfect complement—hot, crispy, and clearly fresh-cut. And I loved that it came with a generous side of bread. The whole experience was wonderful from start to finish. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the service was so quick and efficient. I was in and out in no time, but I never felt rushed. It was a genuinely pleasant and seamless experience.
