Pita Pit — Restaurant in Woolwich

We’ve been here a few times and have never had a complaint until today, my husband goes in around 5pm to order me a pita. I order the veggie cheeseburger with no mushrooms. The girl who started making it starts putting mushrooms and the other girl informs her he didn’t want any she proceeded to say “you know they go on a veggie cheeseburger” and rolled her eyes directly at my husband. Whatever it is what it is. Until he gets home… she put an inedible amount of mustard on my pita. Absolutely disgusting no one in their right mind would ever put that much mustard on something. Wasted $ on a pita at this point. We will not be back after this weekend experience

I've been eating at Pita Pit for the past 22 yrs. LOVE them. They're awesome. I am diabetic and I find that they don't raise my sugars. Much healthier option for fast food than a burger joint. Can't say anything bad about it until now. Went into the Elmira location today and had the chicken pita. I've noticed that over time, they have been skimping on the toppings over time. Well today was pathetic. I've never had a "skinny" pita. Every topping that I asked for was just a pinch of this and a pinch of that. I asked for tzaziki and feta cheese. Usually it combined and gets nice and creamy. I couldn't even taste the feta. It was the driest Pita I have ever had. I don't recommend this location and I will NEVER EVER...

Not super happy. Not one star because I thought it did taste good like, overall the Pita was okay. The one thing that drove me a little bit crazy is that they were very skimpy on the toppings. I can honestly say I probably eat 3-4 pitas every week after I hit the gym. I was in Elmira so I thought I would give this pita pit a try. It didn't really impress me. The Pita that I walked out with was like half the size of any other pita that I would get in Kitchener or Waterloo. I'm not sure if that's because this one location is told to make them that way or if it was just the worker on shift.
