I was super excited to come here because of the historical value of the place.
Walked in the door that morning and stood there for a good 5 minutes (unsure about seating) before being greeted (only 2 tables were being occupied so it was not busy). After we were given a table we waited almost 10 more minutes to get a menu. Once we got a menu we didn't see the server for 15 minutes and decided to leave without a word- and all we were waiting for was to give her the courtesy of telling her we were leaving.
The menu (breakfast at least) is not only extremely limited for people without dietary restrictions, there are no options for someone who is gluten-sensitive (and I'm totally okay with doing things like ordering a burger no bun at restaurants). I think there were three or four dishes on the menu and every single one revolved around a flour-based product. It would be nice if they offered even something like a yogurt with fresh-fruit. So we ordered just a beer and apple pie and waiter was extremely rude to us because we ordered only that, and even made a comment we are not allowed to be there if we don't order a full plate to eat. After he got suspended from holding a restaurant because of pickerels imported from middle east instead of using ones from local lakes he decided to push every guest to spent at least a 100$ on already over priced meals. And he decided to make a fun of us by asking would you like another beer and laughing directly to face. This place will never ever see me again as long as this present...

I usually try out the fries on first visits to any eatery - hard to mess that up, right? The Wildcat offered them with the option of chicken or beef cubes. I went with chicken. My advice: don't.
While the fries were good, the 'chicken cubes' were tiny dry pieces of meat that tasted like fish. I'll update this when I try the burger that others have recommended.
Friendly service, pleasant atmosphere. Though the patio umbrellas struggled against the wind, it's beautiful when you...
