Magari — Restaurant in Rancagua

maybe bad luck? I can recognize the potential of this restaurant, however had a couple of unfortunate experiences. Went with my wife expecting a romantic dinner, as we received a positive reference, atmosphere was nice, the place is well set, and the staff very friendly. Great variety in the menu, it was hard to decide what to order as everything seemed like an excellent option!

Not the best Peruvian pisco sour that I’ve tried in Rancagua, but drinks were ok. Sushi was delicious, totally recommended.

For the main plates we had the actual problem. First, they brought me an incorrect order, so I was some time waiting for the correct plate to arrive, my wife eating by herself. My plate was perfect, but hers was tasteless (like un-salted) and the beef was cooked in a different cooking point than requested.

Little details that could easily be fixed, nothing to stop the night, so we hope that next time it...

New and classy at the same time. Lovely and sophisticated ambience, with great background music. We ordered Shrimp Empanadas for a starter, and they were wonderful and light (really tasty too), next a "Pesto'ed Wine" and Italian Salad, both marvelous and worthy of coming back. At the end for desert they gave us "Earthquakes" with the "Queen's Arm" we ordered. Highly recommended,...

Bonita la terraza y ponen estufa para el frío. Pedimos unos tragos de autor que estaban buenos, el Cahiuta y el Long Beach. De entrada unos dumplings que estaban ricos pero los tuvimos que comer con tenedor ya que no entregaron palitos. Los fondos me decepcionaron en sabor la verdad, muy bonita presentación si.. Pedí un duo de carne y espagueti a la huancaina. La salsa de aji amarillo no sabia bien, le faltaba su sabor característico. La carne estaba blanda y en el punto que la pedí pero de nuevo, sin buen sabor, como que hizo falta sazonar los ingredientes. El otro plato fue un pescado al panko que parecía pescado hervido, muy seco por dentro y nada crujiente. Venía acompañado de un arroz salteado que no tenía ni una gracia. No sé si probé los platos equivocados pero...
