Grange Grill — Restaurant in Beijing

Don't get me wrong, this is a high end restaurant in the Westin hotel in Beijing CBD - the setting, food, wine are all perfect. The only experience couldn't match the 2000 RMB (USD$395) for 2 people at this high end dining experience is the service. To start with, no one welcome you at front door. The front bar and reception was not manned during the entire time. I walked in at the elegant front door, felt like a ghost town. My friend walked in, thought it was closed so he called me to confirm if it was the right place. All waiters and waitresses were friendly, but no one came to the table to take our orders, clear each courses, top up wine or water. Every time, I had to wave to get someone's attention. All of them stood pretty far away from tables in this not busy at all restaurant, perhaps 4-5 tables of customers.
