Lily''s American Diner — Restaurant in Beijing

I am so happy to have found this place. I have lived in China for almost two years now and have only found a few places that can prepare Western food properly. I ordered the waffle plate the first time I went visited here. The waffles are a bit weak and they didn't give me enough butter, but it was the first time since I have moved here that a place has actually cooked my eggs the way I ordered them. Plus, they gave me my own bottle of syrup to use on the waffles. Most places in Beijing give you about a tablespoon of syrup and I always have to fight to get more.

I prefer over easy, but that is not a typical Chinese way of fixing eggs so most people don't know what I want. The eggs were great and the bacon was crispy (which is another thing that is very difficult to find in China). As soon as they brought me my plate, I knew I would be a regular here before I even tasted the food.

The food is good and they have locations all over Beijing. The pricing is reasonable and the staff has an understanding of the products they sell. Lily's American Diner is a rare find in China and I am happy to have made...
