The service here sucks big time. Service staff all seems to have an attitude. Pretentious and obnoxious! Cafe might be good but it is not worth it. I went there with my mum and we ordered coffee. She wanted to just try a chestnut just bought from elsewhere and the staff insisted on taking it away from here and keeping it. Fine, I get that we can't consume outside food there but you just need to tell us nicely and not make my mum uncomfortable. Soloist offers better than average coffee by Beijing standards. They roast on-site and their coffee menu has a couple of unique options for the adventurous. I tried a latte, the Draught Latte and the Fat American. Either the roasting here still has a ways to come or the tap water is imparting flavour on the coffee.
