正阳门城楼 (Zhengyang Gate Tower)
After a long closure, this historic building finally reopened in late December 2024 (Source: Beijing Municipal Bureau of Cultural Relics)
The ground floor, north platform & the 1st to 4th floors of the exhibition hall are now open to the public.
🕘 Opening Hours: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (Tuesday – Sunday) No admission after 4:30 pm Closed on Mondays (except public holidays)
🎟 Admission: Free Registration is required.
To register, visit the Beijing Municipal Cultural Heritage Bureau website & find the page “Zhengyang Gate Arrow Tower Reservation Guide.”
Follow these steps: Scan the QR code to access the reservation system. Click the link to enter the service. Select “Book Tickets Online.” Complete the registration form. Choose your visit date. Add visitor details (up to 5 people per booking). Enter a local contact number (foreign numbers not accepted). Submit your reservation & check your booking order.
