If you’re planning to visit TaoTaoju, be aware that Google Maps shows an incorrect location. To find the restaurant accurately, use Baidu Maps. The TaoTaoju I visited is located in the Sunlitun district, Taikoo Li, right next to the trendy shopping mall. The restaurant is in the building above Uniqlo, making it a convenient stop if you're in the area. I specifically sought out TaoTaoju because of its reputation for serving some of the best dim sum and its fame in Guangzhou. Let me say—it absolutely lived up to the hype! The restaurant is beautifully decorated, creating a modern yet cozy ambiance. The service was outstanding, with staff who were attentive and friendly.

As for the food, it was a dream for dim sum lovers. The highlight for me was their BBQ pork bun—the skin was as soft as cotton candy, and the filling was rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Every dish we tried was fresh, authentic, and delicious.

But I believe its quality is quite representative of most if not all TTJ branches.
