鹤鸣茶社 — Restaurant in Chengdu

There is this well known and popular teahouse, Heming Teahouse, located inside the Renmin Park, that offers visitors a nice place to rest, sit and relax over some nice tea and food while enjoying the beauty and scenery of the park. And what is more interesting is the art of tea pouring demonstration by the highly trained staff with a huge and long tea pot. The teahouse was cosy and you can choose to sit under the trees or inside facing the pond.

On the day of our visit, as it was lunch time, the place was full house and there was no table for us and needed to wait for at least 30mins. (we didn't wait but move on to a nearby cafe for our drink). But we managed to watch some tea pouring demonstrations and bought some packed tea there...

Heming Teahouse (鹤鸣茶社) was founded in 1923 and is located in Chengdu People's Park. Sit on the small bamboo table and bamboo chairs by the artificial lake, pour a pot of tea, put on the snacks, and experience the immersive slow life of the old Chengdu people. If you have time and mood, you can also enjoy the special ear cleaning service. If you can't find the place you like, it doesn't matter.
