We stumbled upon this wonderful eatery while looking for another halal restaurant that was closed down. The locals also ate here. My wife & I ordered Lanzhou soup noodles & beef with garlic sprout & rice. It was wonderful. Truly authentic. The portions were to us, too large, we couldn't finish. We're small to medium built. The young waitress looks gloomy & won't smile throughout but I guess that's normal here, until the end when her curiosity got hold of her & asked if we were Malaysians but proudly say no, we're Singaporeans. She doesn't speak a word of English. We ordered by pointing at the food. The price was CNY36.50 which is about SGD6.79 or USD5. That would be only 1 bowl of noodles back home. Oh, we also had a can of drink.
