McFound — Restaurant in Guilin

McFound Restaurant (麦香坊信义店) is one of the highly rated local restaurants (withreasonable pricing) enjoyed by both locals and visitors. The vast majority of the food is Chinese cuisine but they also have a variety of other different options (at time of writing) including pancakes, fried rice and even Pizza for people who prefer something more western.

The menus are in both Chinese & English so visitors who can't understand Chinese characters are able to easily order here and there are multiple locations across the city. Some dishes that seem to be more popular than others include:

We had Biang biang noodles, a salad and homemade pork and chives dumplings (one plate, 20 dumplings) and all were good. Avocado in the salad looked a bit old but otherwise ingredients were fresh....

This place is offten recommended by guides and hotel staffs. I have been here a year ago as well, food and service used to be better. Just go somewhere else, there are way better options...
