Had a great time in Guilin. Went during Chinese New year's and to our surprise it wasn't really that busy. The weather was also pleasant and not very cold. Many places to go explore and sight see. Including the three hour river ride, the famous rice terrace and the caverns. About 3 days should be enough to go do all these places. Book a tour like we did. It was worth it.

Pretty little lake with two similar yet slightly different looking pagodas in it. Particularly beautiful at night when the sun and moon pagodas are lit up in white and orange. A nice place to take a walk and relax without having to pay any money to do so. Right in the center of all the other attractions in Guilin city, so it is absolutely worth a visit.

A very nice place with breathtaking view. Went there in the evening and enjoy the view until nite time. There are lots of local having a good time exercising & chit-chating with friends. You can also get lots of local fishing in the lake as well. For me the best time to visit is during evening as you can have 2 different view of the same 2 pagoda.

Situado en el corazón de la ciudad de Guilin, el Parque Cultural Riyue Shuangta es conocido por las Pagodas del Sol y la Luna. De pie en el lago Shanhu y nombradas como "el hito de New Guilin", las dos torres son una combinación de cultura, arte, región, arquitectura, tecnología y naturaleza. La Pagoda del Sol está construida en bronce y la Pagoda de la Luna, en esmaltes de colores. Un túnel de unos 18 metros de largo debajo del lago conecta las dos pagodas. Nice park for a stroll. Nice greenery and plenty to see. There is a nice teahouse in the middle of the lake. The place really lights up at night. You can see the locals dance and join in!

Very unique double towers. You can use the tunnel under the water to get from Moon tower to sun tower, and they have a lift in Sun tower!
