A-ZHU MA Private Kitchen — Restaurant in Hong Kong

Found some comments below complaining their services, and I can see why. We came here the first time a few years ago and loved the chicken there. They were packed and opened a small room to accommodate diners right across the footpath. Now that room has converted into a convenient store. We ordered 2 different kinds of chicken, both were fine in terms of quality and serving portion. Rice was sizzling hot. The chicken was tender and juicy, much better than those find in fast food chains. Service? Not great, at least not as good as we had years ago. We were served mainly by a couple, with an old guy clearing tables outdoor. You won't find a itsy bitsy smile on their faces. My wife asked for the check, the lady said she would come out again to collect. 2 min passed, nothing happened. I then walked in and asked if I can pay thru WeChat (as I saw the sign on their glass door). She said they only take cash and Octopus. When challenged, the guy standing next to the lady said other payment methods have surcharge. He even said "...so you don't need to pay surcharge!" Wow, how could it be! According to WeChat website, all bank charges, including remittance fee, are borne by the merchant (some by WeChat). Anyway, it's no good...

睇咗好多亞豬媽食客既留言，見到有好亦有壞，今日我老婆牛一，所以我帶埋屋企人去試吓菜，我先知道乜嘢叫做＂有水準＂。

我一行5個人+貓貓，總數叫左6個餸，點知真係出左事，碟碟都鬼死咁大碟，食到頂住個胃😂

酸湯肥牛 2. 剁椒魚頭 3. 小炒肉 葷玉滿堂 5. 冬菇蒸雞 6. 土魷肉餅

(A)先講酸湯肥牛，味道比水煮牛肉更好食，一嚟無咁油，二嚟牛肉新鮮，三嚟酸湯配菜裏面有萵筍同金菇，味道酸酸辣辣好開胃，鐘意食辣既朋友，可以叫佢哋加多一點辣，評分96/100。 (B) 剁椒魚頭，無泥味已經贏咗7成，又唔會死鹹，開頭唔太覺得辣，但越食越辣越追住食，重有唔知係唔係手打魚蛋伴碟上，評分90/100。 (C) 小炒肉不太特別，因為好多食肆都有呢個餸，但水準亦都不錯，送飯送啤酒絕對小不免，評分88/100。 (D) 葷玉滿堂呢個餸就見人見智，如果鐘意食素既人就very good，但我屬於食肉獸，所以興趣不大，但味道同口感亦也滿意嘅! 評分80/100 (E) 冬菇蒸雞都係唔錯，無味精就係無味精，家庭feel嘅感覺，雞鮮嫩滑無死鹹，白飯做伴侶小不免，評分86/100。 (F) 到最後一個餸土魷肉餅，呢個餸真係要表揚，肉質嫩滑、水份充足、馬蹄粒鮮甜，最緊要唔(鞋)，呢個餸要誇張一D，呢幾年嚟未食過咁有水準嘅肉餅，雖然係一個咁簡單嘅餸，但係肉餅做得好唔好真係要天分評分極高98/100。
