Hummus 享廚館 — Restaurant in Hong Kong

I tried their chicken curry for lunch. Although the flavor was good, the portion was so little, it wouldn't even be enough for a child. There were just two small pieces of chicken thighs and three pieces of naan. I left the place feeling hungry and had to buy more food elsewhere.

I think that they need to work on better temperature control. The soup they brought me was lukewarm, and so was the drink. I had diarrhea the day after eating here, maybe it was because of the weird tasting soup. Their milk tea was already sweetened and they provided no option to make the beverage without sugar. The tea was also just barely warm.

They had lunch specials for $55, but they added an extra 10% service charge, so it turned out to be $61. It wasn't worth it, especially when the service was at best mediocre and there are better options in the neighborhood. I also had to ask them for water. Terrible food and service

The place is packed as hell, they have to move the whole table for you to be seated. The guy from south asia was so rude, we ordered chicken rice, and needed a knife, he just gave us attitude and was extremely sassy throwing the knife on the table and giving us face when we requested a knife.

The food really looked like left over and was very messy, just like the place itself.

When we left the place, while they moved the table, the dishes and glasses were dropped all over, none of the staff apologized nor cared, they were giving us faces like we did it.

We were very disappointed at this experience and can understand why there are so many bad reviews here! AVOID...

This restaurant is a hidden gem among the non-famous ones I had arrived a few minutes after their last order, but they were still willing to cook amazing, spicy and juicy kebabs for my hungry friend and I! I also gotta credit the sauce for the kabab for being so addictive as well 😂 It was a little bit more expensive compared to other middle-eastern restaurants, but there is no doubt that these kabab rolls are the best ones I've ever had The owner was nice and quite chatty as well :D To sum up, this was the definitely the most enjoyable dinning experience I've ever had after hk's usual closing hours, easily...
