Merci Cafe by Déesses — Restaurant in Hong Kong

What a pleasant surprise. I was looking for a cafe to sit down and work for a couple hours and did not want to go to Starbucks. There aren’t so many choices in Sheung Shui but Merci is tucked away in the back at Lamdmark North’s 5th floor. It offers a quiet ambience but plays wonderful, cool hip hop / dance music to spice up the atmosphere. There is a bar area meant for lone diners to sit. It wasn’t too busy that I felt guilty for sitting too long. The afternoon tea set costs $68 and comes with a piece of artisan cake and coffee. The food wasn’t bad, thought the coffee hazelnut cake was slightly on the sweet side but can order another selection next time. Would certainly come back, and maybe try the dishes in the standard menu. 10%...

very friendly service from all the staff,this is our second time here 1st we had the steak and lamb rack which were beautifully cooked, this time the chef special slow cooked beef rib with sweet potatoes frys m....yummy 😋...

🔹威靈頓三文魚配檸檬牛油汁 餐廳招牌菜式之一！大大件厚切三文魚，以威靈頓方式烹煮，外層酥皮充滿牛油香，夠晒酥香～三文魚肉嫩滑，口感綿密，搭配自家調製檸檬牛油汁，清新得黎更能突顯三文魚嘅鮮甜味😋

🔹桂圓紅棗茶 原壺呈上，賣相精緻，打卡一流💁🏻‍♀️作為女性養顏三寶👉🏻桂圓、紅棗、枸杞，香甜清潤，滋補又養生💋

🔹迷你蛋糕 開心果迷嘅我哋揀咗100% Pistachio，細滑忌廉包裹著海綿蛋糕及開心果夾心，口感細膩香滑，面層仲有開心果碎，陣陣甘香味，甜而不膩💋
