Two bowls of good quality ramen for 130, solid price compared to Centrals typical 95 to 110 per bowl. Go here if you like ramen. For the price, it is a very good value ....if for some odd reason your up in these parts. Now on to the details. This place is off the main road behind a small mall with a Sam Gor. You pay on ground floor and go eat upstairs. Soup base has very little to no msg which honestly i could care less about but i thought it worth mentioning. The flavor of the base is great, rich but not too strong to finish it all. Texture is right in the middle area, not super thick like ive seen some places and not watery. Perfect id say. I got the spicy twice and it was awesome both times. Pork was great, not to fatty but tender, again great value. The noodles are perfect period. Cooked perfect, not to soft not too hard. After all the ramen ive eaten in HK, which is alot now, this places is an awesome value. Ive payed over 100 for ramen several times and had it be below this quality. No this place is not the best, but price wise, its damn good.

This ramen joint is kinda off to the side so it's a little hard to find. Authentic Japanese ramen that's not typical at all. The soup base is not that creamy and rich, but doesn't lack too much flavour, it holds its own because it's not overly salty where I have to drink 3 cups of water. The noodles have texture and chewy. Cha siu has a little char on them but it's not burnt evenly on all pieces. Takoyaki was pretty decent. Service is great but has limited seating.

The cha siu meat is good as they burn the surface known as "火炙", the noodle is good, the soup is not creamy type, which I would prefer creamy and sticky soup. The environment is a bit tiny. The staff is very polite. Hkd75 for a bowl of cha siu ramen, fair I would say.

Awesome ramen from Menya Yamashita, and their broth is rich, and the chashu is well seasoned. The location of the restaurant is not good, it's not easy to find. And during my visit on weekdays for dinner, no queue is required, and the restaurant is half full. Ordered their signature ramen which is great. Also ordered their fried shrimp, which is well cooked. However the seating here can be improved, it's too pack for...
