I will start off by writing my review first,
I ordered a serving of Spaghetti Bolognese which was pretty good, along with two "jumbo-sized" oysters which I knew were "large-sized" in reality (they scammed me and lied to me) about the sizes of the oysters.
I ordered a platter of fries too. But, they were too mushy for my liking, so I couldn't really enjoy it like how I usually enjoy fries at McDonald's or Shake Shack or KFC or JoliBee.
The lunch-set came with a single bread and a corn-based soup, which I enjoyed, but I personally believe that the servings were way too small for someone like me (who requires a larger serving of food at restaurants).
I will now be speaking on behalf of my mom,
She ordered a pork-cutlet curry rice, which she did not enjoy whatsoever. She said that the curry was not the correct/appropriate viscosity for her to fully enjoy.
They also served her frozen pre-packaged pork-cutlet which she complained to me about. She hates eating frozen pre-packaged foods as it is not genuinely cooked by the chefs in real time.
And the beverages were not that great either, according to what my mom said about her dining experience at San Babila. I enjoyed my dining experience to an extent, but I had to agree with her on her food as I saw her facial-expressions of dissatisfaction.
The only reason why I gave the 'Service' and 'Atmosphere' 5-stars is because the man who served us was actually pretty nice and understood how to speak fluent English which made ordering way more easier for myself.
Aside from that, I've given the rest very bad ratings. As this restaurant does deserve a bad rating for scamming patrons, and lying about food items at...
Read moreDuring my recent visit to this restaurant, I had an extremely disappointing experience, particularly with the suckling pig dish. The meat had been reheated, lacking freshness and juiciness, and the skin, which should have been crispy and flavorful, was instead soggy and unappetizing. Additionally, the dish had an unpleasant odor and noticeable boar taint, making it even more unpalatable. The meat itself was bland and lacked the rich, savory taste characteristic of well-cooked suckling pig. To make matters worse, the dish was outrageously overpriced, making the cost unjustifiable. It felt like a complete waste of money, and I left the restaurant feeling both unsatisfied and frustrated. Overall, my experience was very poor, and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The suckling pig was a huge disappointment—reheated, not crispy, overpriced, and emitting a bad smell with boar taint. Save your money and dine elsewhere if you are looking for a satisfying and...

Ordered the ribeye steak at medium rare and their grilled chicken with risotto. Also added a pair of gillardeau oysters (N0) and baked oysters as appetizers. Both mains came with a soup of the day. The oysters were fresh with umami. The steak was cooked right at medium rare, followed with fresh sides and salad. The pumpkin soup tasted fantastic: authentic, fresh, and creamy. Have to say the same for the risotto, creamy at perfect la onda. Food quality of a hong kong fine dining at a reasonable price.
Definitely rare-find and must-try if...
