It’s a hidden gem! We are from Canada, has been looking for the best dim sum in HK, and we found it!

Many other dim sum restaurants tasted the same, with some dishes prepared by external vendors. Hong Wo Kok made everything in house. Many cooks have over 20 years experience. The family atmosphere kept the experienced employees there, and the taste shows!

We love our version of the “ BBQ pork 4 eats” - 1) BBQ pork bun, 2) BBQ dinner roll bun, 3) BBQ pork crispy pastry, and 4) the best half fat half lean BBQ pork we have ever tasted!

Be prepared to wait for a table. Even during weekdays there is a queue, as HWK is neighborhood’s favorite, but if you’re a dim sum lover, the wait...

Not recommend! They have the worst service in the Hung Hom area, and the dishes there are not as good as others, I went to this restaurant this morning for dim sum with my friend we ordered three soup dumplings, one of them has a cockroach on the plate, we ask the server for help, he just took the soup dumpling away and cancel the order, he said nothing not even apologize to us. Overall they have the worst service, and the dishes come so slow and I didn’t see many people are waiting outside so I don’t know why the serve the food so slow. Will never recommend this restaurant to others. Don’t go there I really doubt their food safety, and whether their kitchen met the hygiene...
