Katiga Japanese Food Shop — Restaurant in Kowloon

Im no food critic but what i want to say is that this restraunt has have absolutely atrocious service for the price paid, the waitress looked like she wanted to murder me as i was ordering. Food came at a reasonable pace but quality was less than average, normally that wouldn't bother me too much but considering it costs ~200 hkd for a soup its simply shocking! To add salt to the wound the waitress later told me that there was a stock outage on a certain fish, again normaly thats fine, but the waitress said it like it was my fault for being an idiot and ordered it! Lastly the toilets, jesus they're worst than the public toilets in Mong Kok!! (Which are pretty atrocious already). The bill was totaled at 3430 hkd for 5 dinners! I came from perth australia and trust me we from perth dont have sharp tastes for food, we're pretty easily satisfied and prices here are above average to say the least. To anyone thinking of dinning in this restraunt here's one suggestion: avoid it like you would with a bubonic rat! There are alot more better choices...

Great find, Katiga Japanese food has been around for a long time and I’m glad it’s still here and doing well, that says a lot. The staff didn’t speak much English but they were friendly and helpful. I recommend ordering the sushi and bento boxes. It has a variety of Japanese food but I would go somewhere else that specialises in ramen or skewers, however everything else is top notch! There isn’t parking outside but there are parking lots near by at cheap. Nice little alley way that feels like old school japan! Great place to bring...
