Tao Heung Tea House — Restaurant in Kowloon

Currently enduring the sad excuse that is "dinner" at this so called restaurant. The food is awful at best with food combinations that lead to unquestioned disgust and dissatisfaction.

Service is awful, servers do not allow time for customer to eat, rather throw food onto the table and usher you to hurry up so they can finish their job and presumably get off duty or go somewhere else.

Store managers are non existent and are useless. They provide no help and no feasible explanation to try to improve the customer experience. Rather they adopt a position of resignation and say that this is how it is and that we should accept it.

To set an example, we had to endure two dishes. First being curry prawns with soggy potato chips that you can purchase frozen from the supermarket. Undercooked fries, overcooked prawns and a disgusting sauce that goes against everything people know about Chinese food. The second sad excuse was the suppose deep fried milk curds with red bean drizzled with white sesame and paired with a sour acidic dressing. MILK AND ACID. A COMBINATION FOR GASTRIC DISASTER. DISGUSTING AND UNBEARABLE.

I feel extreme disgusted at the fact that I will have to pay money for this excuse of a dinner. It is unacceptable and you should either reevaluate your menu options and food options or you should just close down entirely. A sad excuse and no one should ever endure anything from this torture chamber.

PS. THEY JUST SERVED APPLES FOR DESSERT AND THEY SHE LITERALLY SINGLE WHOLE APPLES RINSED UNDER THE TAP. THIS HELLHOLE DOES NOT DESERVE TO CHARGE MONEY...

The food presentation was nice but was very oily (much more oily than other restaurants) and the service was very poor. The servers looked really tire. We were there around 2:30pm. The environment was very noisy and it did not help when the servers were throwing dirty plates, cups and utensils really hard into collection bins.
