McDonald's (Heng On Estate) — Restaurant in Sha Tin District

This is a 24 hour McDonald's at the Heng On Commercial Centre in Ma On Shan. They have a normal sized seating area and you can do take-away or delivery through deliveroo if preferred. Otherwise expect the standard McDonald's menu, low priced, fast-food experience.

One of the things that is somewhat interesting about McD in Hong Kong are the local food items that are considerably different than what you'll find on McD menu boards in western countries. Presently, they are offering Omnipork Luncheon meat sandwiches, a plant-based and healthy alternative to the sausage sandwiches in the morning.

Another recent offer (Tastic - Fan-Tastic) features two Japanese inspired sandwiches making use of rice buns (buns made entirely of sticky rice in the shape of traditional burger buns). This promotion includes a Yakiniku Beef and Chicken Katsu sandwich, which I tried recently.
