Shengji — Restaurant in Shenzhen

Do NOT dine at this place. First of all, the price was more than 3 times the place of other restaurants of equal or better quality. They might as well have paid off all their mortages from a single table. The prized "pigeon soup" was full of tiny bone scraps, giving off the impression of ingesting scrap metal. The soup looked like watered ash, smelled of watered ash, and tasted like even more so of watered ash. Most disbelievingly, the "food"took over 45mins to bring even the first dish, which was cold plain rice. The time needed to prepare the meal probably contributed to shriveled up rasin-like clams which seemed to have dried up and become one-fifth of the original size. Do not recommend....

Overall food is quite fresh and tasty but service is lacking. Will be back to try...
