As a premium Japanese restaurant in Xiamen, Shogun's quality of food is average. Had the Teppanyaki set priced at about more then 1000rmb ( high price relative to similar restaurants in that area)The sashimi has some unchewable veins. The half lobster and fresh abalone are ok, although we had to ask for the lobster to be recooked as it was still raw in the middle. Fried rice could have been much better as they did it in a very simple "fried egg and rice mixed together" format. Sake prices...
