Came for the famous peanut soup and was not disappointed, especially the peanut soup with egg. The fried dessert on the other hand was cold and oily, not palatable at all. I didn’t try the other local delicacies so couldn’t comment on the tastiness. What can I say, first time to ximen and I see all locals going into this place, so I imagine it can't be that bad.

10 minutes later I'm in food heaven. The buns are soft like pillow and has such flavor.

The sweets aren't soaked in sugar but has the perfect balance in terms of texture and taste.

Make sure you first get a card from the counter and you can add however much you want on it. You'll get refunded what you don't use.
