Millennium Harbourview Hotel Xiamen — Hotel in Xiamen

The hotel is very well located with Metro station line 1 next to it; Zhonghua Cheng Shopping mall opposite and Zhongshan walking street nearby.||We booked the superior room after reading review that this room type was refurbished. The twin-bedded room was just sizable enough to fit two and the bath room was small. wifi was rather weak.||Swimming pool is closed during our stay and the gym has very basic equipment plus a yoga room. ||Not sure about the breakfast varieties at CNY 170 per person but you can easily find food nearby. The hotel provides complimentary 2-way airport shuttle bus service which is a plus point. ||For the service level, I have mixed reviews for front desk staff. The person who did our check-in was helpful in responding to our complaint of the cigarette smell in non-smoking room. However another young lady staff on duty next day afternoon seemed to be blurred yet impatient when we tried to pick up our new room cards after the first one arranged for change of rooms. Perhaps the hotel should consider imposing penalty on those guests smoking in a non-smoking room for the courtesy of next occupant.||In summary, this is a very convenient hotel to stay when exploring Xiamen if you can manage...

Beware! When you book online through an Agent Site as our booking for a superior twin room for 2 pax with included breakfast was only ONE breakfast upon checking in at the hotel. There was no indication that the breakfast is only for ONE pax in the booking site. Strange that someone will book a twin room for 2 pax with only ONE breakfast. Therefore after booking kindly confirm in black and white that there is 2 breakfast.

On the Hotel, it is directly next to the Exit 3A of the Metro Line 1. Zhongsan Lu is within near walking distance of the hotel. There is a convenience store just below the hotel.
