This cafe located in Yuen Long, with blue-and-white 🟦⬜ coloured interior design will bring you right to Portugal! 🇵🇹 It is such a great spot for a cozy brunch on a Sunday morning! 😆 Many tempting items on the menu like all day breakfast, savoury & sweet croffles, Italian 🇮🇹 ciabatta and even some light options like Yogurt bowls if you are not so hungry! 🤩 This time, I got to try:

🥯 Brava Brunchin 🍳 It is a big refreshing spread - smoked salmon, 🐟 avocado, 🥑 scrambled eggs, 🍳 portobello, 🍄 roasted potato, 🥔 bagel 🥯 and grilled tomato! 🍅 Totally loved the scrambled eggs, 😍 there is still a little moisture, I loved to have it with baked beans HEHE. 🥺 They also have 3️⃣ options for bagels: plain, blueberry 🫐 and Jalapeño. They added some cream cheese 🧀 to the bagel which is my favourite combination! 😋

🥓 Streaky bacon & black truffle scrambled eggs Italian Ciabatta 🍳 If you love to eat scrambled eggs 🍳 and also love black truffle, 🍄 you should try this! This ciabatta is filled with black truffle scramble eggs and topped with two crispy bacon. 🤤 The bread itself was soft and easy to bite! 😁

🥜 Pistachio Basque Cheesecake 🍰 These Basque cheesecakes are homemade and I am so in love with it. 😍 The cheesecake was topped with lots of pistachios. 🥜 There was a layer of crushed biscuit 🍪 at the bottom of the cheesecake. The cake itself is so heavy in pistachio flavour and so satisfying. 😝

☕ Oat Latte ☕ The coffee is more on the nutty side 🥜 (which I personally love!). Their latte art is so pretty and detailed! 😲

☕ Hojicha Latte ☕ So heavy on Hojicha flavour and it is actually so satisfying to have along with the brunch! 😆

Other than Hojicha Latte, they also got other non-coffee drinks like matcha latte 🍵 and Genmaicha Latte. Thank you for all these yummy food and great hospitality! 😝

A Short Escape to Portugal 🇵🇹☕️

Brava Java located in Yuen Long but it transports you straight to the streets of Portugal. From the moment I stepped inside, the cozy decor; tile floors; wooden accents and hanging paints that made me feel like I'd been transported overseas.

Guacamole (Avocado Bagel)🥑🥯 I tried the avocado bagel, it filled with creamy homemade guacamole - the perfect blend of savory and fresh.

✨Croffle with maple bacon and a fried egg 🍳 🥓🥐 Impressed by the croffle (hybrid of croissant-waffle) the crisp, golden brown exterior gives way the layers of buttery. The savoury bacon cuts through the sweetness of maple syrup, the contrast of sweet and salty playing nicely together in a croffle. That’s why it is one of the signature dish of Brava Java!!!!

Matcha tonic x Matcha latte 🍵 Matcha is my favourite 💚 Matcha tonic are not commonly seen on cafe menus. The matcha tonic is quite different from regular green tea, it grassy and a bit sour, I guess it might added lime or lemon, just well balance the natural bitterness and the texture of tonic is refreshing, it was a delightful surprise . I am very surprised about their sourdough toast. Fragrant taste of fermentation and moist on the inside and crispy on the crust. They come in 2 large pieces with a big scoop of guacamole and a few dollops of cream cheese. The avocado is soft and textured with large pieces of avocado, great pairing with sourdough and cream cheese. The salad and cherry tomatoes are fresh and served with vinaigrette. Cold brew with milk is also phenomenal. Thick and creamy like a glass of cold mocha. By the way, the interior uses Portugal azulejos tilts, blue and white ceramics tilts and the utensils pairs well with the design as well.
