This is a well known roast goose place in Yuen Long as well as on foodies lists of best Roast Goose place in HK. They used the same black head geese 黑鬃鹅 as the Michelin Star Yung Kee 镛記 in Central. With the right pedigree geese and skilled chef they produced a high quality roast very similar to Yung Lee without a high price. Roughly$60HK or less than $8US for a delicious bowl with rice. Of course most international tourists probably never heard of this hole in wall place in YL, and much less trek into this non tourists area for it. Most of the reviews were written by local guides so I was a little sceptical how true the reviews were. It is located behind the lane and a Not very prominent location. I will not call it a restaurant but a shop; a very tpical Hong Kong food shop so do not expect hygine to be its 1st priority. We are here for the Roast Goose, so we are not bother by it.
