Ceron — Restaurant in Armenia

A lot of restaurants in Armenia have recently been losing their quality. Being originally from this wonderful city, it’s been sad seeing the loss of quality, overall, gastronomically throughout the city. Many big name restaurants that we all know and love have remained just that; restaurants we know and love. Very little creativity in their new dishes, and complacency in the dishes that have been around since their start. Today, I finally visited what a restaurant should be.

The attention, food quality, and charisma of the restaurant are exceptional. I ordered the seafood ramen and octopus entree and was blown away by the fantastic flavors present in both dishes. They had told me my dishes would go wonderfully with a white Chilean wine, and they were very much correct. You can tell everyone that makes up Ceron genuinely cares about their craft. Shockingly great! You could be in London, Chicago Montreux or Tokyo with food this superior. While Quindio is the best place in the world to live, it lacks great restaurants. Ceron changes the game and raises the bar very high for restaurants in Quindio. So far I have had the pork ribs. beef burger, chicken and mushroom soup. All have left me feeling like I was in NYC or Europe.

The service was also outstanding. I kept asking the waiter if the Chef worked in the U.S or Europe, and his reply was No. I will ask again when I return soon because this food has a International flair rarely found in Colombia.

The Ceron staff was taking great caution to protect guest health in a time when many restaurants are unprepared for the pandemic.

We came here at the recommendation of an executive chef in the United States. This place is unreasonably delicious. We came with a group of 15 and ordered just about everything on the menu. Everybody raved about their dishes, which were not only delicious, but had gorgeous presentations. Not a single person was disappointed with their order. I personally had the Risotto Tikka Masala and the Risotto al Pastor and they were absolutely incredible. This place had the best food I experienced during my whole trip to Colombia.
