Our family positively loves this Cafe! The omelets are terrific.
We think it's a good idea to request eggs that are "not overcooked." Otherwise you will get that Tico-style, dry, brown surface from the bottom of the pan.
But they are very attentive to cooking the eggs a bit less, so they stay soft and yellow.
And they do a terrific job with the luxurious veggies inside your omelet!
The drip coffee is also wonderful, served fresh with your drip system in front of you.
Don't forget to order the marvelous fruit drinks.
Casados are also excellent. The prices can't be beat. Be sure to order some extra cooked vegetables on the side, because they make these better...

Read moreI Stopped at Tica’s Café (in the shared space with Masaje Lizz) and wow.. qué experiencia. Before my detox treatment I had a papaya smoothie bien fresquito. In between my massage and facial I ordered a plate (casados) con arroz, bocadillo, plátanos, frijoles, ensalada y pollo frito… ¡FANTASTIC! One of the best meals I’ve had in Atenas. Todo super natural, nutritivo y full of sabor. Loved it. I’ll be back for sure.
Fui a Tica’s Café (en el mismo espacio con Masaje Lizz) y la comida me encantó. Antes de mi detox treatment me tomé un smoothie de papaya bien frío y delicioso.
