Absolutely Outstanding – A Must-Visit in Montezuma!

We had the pleasure of dining at Sabor de Mar for three days in a row during our stay in Montezuma – and every single meal was exceptional. The menu is wonderfully diverse, offering something for everyone, and every dish we tried was full of flavor, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection.

What truly sets this place apart is the unbeatable value for money. It's rare to find such high-quality cuisine at such fair prices in Costa Rica. We’ve eaten at many restaurants across the country, and Sabor de Mar has easily been the best dining experience so far.

The atmosphere is relaxed, the service is warm and attentive, and the food speaks for itself. Whether you're craving seafood, traditional Costa Rican dishes, or something a bit more creative – this is the place to go.

Just had a fantastic time at this gem of a restaurant. Drinks were perfect. The tables are beautiful natural wood. The food was perfectly cooked and fresh. After an evening in the town of Montezuma last night, we all wish we had found this spot yesterday. The owner, Jose, is very kind and doing a great job. Avoid the craziness of downtown and go here. Best meal, best atmosphere, and best facilities we’ve seen all trip. Ceviche was amazing. Pescado in coconut curry was stellar. Tuna in garlic sauce was perfect. The mojitos were as good as any we’ve had. Prices were more than reasonable. Go support this...

A True Hidden Gem in Costa Rica!

This restaurant is a real hidden gem! Great service, food and very good value for money!

The ceviche was incredibly fresh and full of flavor – probably the best I’ve tasted in Costa Rica. The service was outstanding, with staff who were both attentive and warm, creating such a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.

The value for money here is fantastic as well; you get fresh, authentic, high-quality dishes without the high price tag. If you’re looking for an authentic Costa Rican dining experience, this spot should not be missed.
