Food Quality: food is quite nice. Very tasty and well presented. Would have loved to have more time to try some other dishes, but next time!
Portions: very nice portions. On the TLV maybe lacking a bit more bread to be able to successfully eat all the dips presented.
Drinks: typical coffee house options, good coffee, nice smoothies, and of course, juices.
Price: $$-$$$ not overpriced, but not cheap either. Good thing the food was good.
Service: our waitress didnt start on a good foot, first thing we were told is that we might be asked to move mid breakfast if a bigger group showed up, then was quite ok during the service and luckily always tables were opening up so it never came to moving. At the time of payment she wanted to take my credit card away with her to make the payment, she seemed pissed when i wouldnt let her (rule #1, especially when travelling, credit card always stays with you to avoid any frauds or other issues) I was asked to walk in and pay at the counter then. Happy to.
Atmosphere: the place is nice, but right on a busy street, which made it extremely noisy and lots of dust always in the air as the roads are half dirt half paved.
Highlights: the food.
Things to improve: something to prevent the dust coming to your food would be great. Maybe also, get the wireless charging pods so you can charge at the table and avoid any problems with credit payments.

Read moreI recently had the pleasure of visiting a French pastry shop in Costa Rica, and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed by the delightful array of pastries and breakfast items on offer.
The croissants were a standout, with a wonderful variety of fillings to choose from, including passion fruit, matcha, and nocciola. The dough was expertly prepared and delightfully flakey, providing the perfect contrast to the rich and flavorful fillings.
For breakfast, I highly recommend the acai bowl, which was bursting with fresh and vibrant fruits, and the egg scramble bagel, which was perfectly cooked and paired beautifully with a rich and velvety coffee.
The ambiance of the pastry shop was also exceptional, with a beautiful and inviting atmosphere that perfectly complemented the delicious food. The attention to detail in the decor and presentation was evident, and the staff were friendly and attentive.
Overall, I highly recommend this French pastry shop in Costa Rica for anyone looking for a delightful culinary experience. The pastries and breakfast items are both delicious and beautifully presented, and the atmosphere is both charming and welcoming. A trip to this pastry shop is well worth...
Read moreMy girlfriend and i got this restaurant recommended by a bunch of people and it’s also part of the insidercostarica’s foodieguide. First of all, the restaurant looks quite nice, has a nice outdoor eating area and the actual inner restaurant looks modern and comfortable. However, that isn’t possible to enjoy, if the restaurant is full, like the way when we went there. We wanted to go for a short snack/small lunch at something around 2 pm and it was nearly full with tons of non-local people. The menu is huge and has a big variety, but the menu card itself was a bit confusing, because its A3-format and the small font size. The staff was friendly and helped us, if needed. In the end, we gone for some pastries from the inside cashier desk. The two croissants were really good. The prices were as typical for Santa Teresa nit really cheap, but regarding about “just buying pastries” quite expensive. The rest of the menu was as well moderate priced, but we haven’t seen any meals, so we can’t tell, if the price-value is actually fine. We paid by card without any extra fees. All in all, quite nice restaurant, but look for the time...
