La Tortillería de Luján — Restaurant in Catedral

We were visiting from Connecticut and from Miami, the best Coffee ever! I had a Chorreada which is a big corn tortilla with Sourcream on top and grated cheese! We also enjoyed, Tortilla con queso ( cheese) and Tamales! Everything was so so delicious! But what I love the most was they way they serve you the coffee. You get your own coffee mini maker! First impression of this place was very poor.

You are to order from the menu up front at the stand (which was unattended). Afterwards, they give you a number and you pick a table. There was only 1 table in the entire restaurant that didn't have leftover plates on it as they clearly don't clean as they go.

The food was excellent and of generous portions. The service was uncommonly bad for Costa Rica. Prices were also a bit above what they should be.
