Comments before mine are accurate for food, service. I grew up going for Chinese food at the old, well known, classic Chinese restaurant which means lots of tables, cheap food, TV screen with the Chinese news on, waiters wearing white button up shirt and black pants referring to the menu by dish number. Loud banging noises coming from the back of the place where the cook hits the huge wok with an oversized aluminum spoon flipping fried rice. But TDX is an atmosphere closer to the new millennial crowd and KPop/Jpop. Electronic music sounding in the air, neon colored chairs, huge clientele of fast paced young customers. Decor is definitely for young people. Nothing wrong with that. True, the place is small for how popular it is. True, there's only one restroom in the place. True, someone's got to keep it clean at all times. The ramp. I can't quite get its purpose outside of the Ley 7600. I just don't see where a wheelchair can fit or imagine a person with crutches trying to get up there, but I've seen those waiters move tables and chairs around like a Tetris game setting up for a party of 6 in a crowded place. One can always order take out. They've got a WhatsApp #. I'm soooooo going back because it's the food what has me marveled. If there are like 50 different kinds of tea drinks in the menu is no lie. I still have to try like 48. If you don't know how to work the chop sticks better ask for silverware. The prices are so customer friendly. It puts other Asian joints to shame and other restaurants at a loss. By the way, I ended up there by mistake and now they found a customer. No photos. I go there to...
Read moreBe cautious, all the clients. 3 things I have a hard time accepting about this restaurant:
There was obviously dishwashing water on the plate holding the dumplings. When I asked the waiter to confirm what it was, the waiter poked my cutlery with his hand and told me very frankly that it was tap water.
Fried dumplings are obviously quick-frozen food, and the fillings taste terrible. The wonton soup is filled with some technological seasonings commonly used in China. I don't think that non-Chinese people can't get this taste, and the store can provide such cheap and inferior ingredients and production techniques.
No one provided us with cutlery 3 minutes after our...
Read moreThis small but cozy Chinese restaurant is a hidden gem. While you might have to wait in line for a few minutes due to its size, the wait is well worth it. The food is perfect for sharing, especially the wide selection of appetizers—each one packed with flavor and ideal for a couples meal. However, I personally didn’t enjoy the soup, as it wasn’t to my taste. On the other hand, the beverages are absolutely incredible, refreshing, and a perfect complement to the meal. Best of all, the prices are very affordable, making this spot a great choice for a delicious and budget-friendly meal. Highly...
