KFC Plaza Del Sol — Restaurant in Curridabat

We made the awful decision of ordering BBQ wings. We placed an order of 14 wings and the 3 of us only ate 4 of them. I just want to make this clear, The restaurant is great, but this specific dish was not enjoyable at all. We couldn’t tolerate the flavor of the BBQ sauce. Way too sweat and not good at all. Had the wings not being covered in that awful BBQ sauce, they would’ve been great. I regret my decision of ordering BBQ wings. I do feel very bad cause KFC is one of my favorite restaurants and today I was very very hungry and so were my friends. Lost money because of that sauce.

Please Remember, ask for the sauce to be apart and everything would be fine.

KFC Costa Rica has changed a LOT during the past decade.

Chicken quality is great 🍗💯👍. KFC abandoned the many cooler sauce choices🪦. Buffalo sauce now tastes like spicy vinegar. It's super disgusting now. 🤢

The other day I ordered wings covered in BBQ sauce and they gave me chicken that was dunked in BBQ-looking water🤮🤮🤮. The sauce was so thin and DISGUSTING. It only made the bread coating soggy. 🤮‼️

Staff only care about 👉speed👈, so they are very pushy. Especially at the drive thru💀. They even sound annoyed if you are not going fast enough for them🙄. Bad customer service skills.

The place was quite dirty. It looked like either someone hadn't cleaned in a while or they just regularly do a poor job of it. The food was good though and fresh. We got water from the soda machine and it was nasty brown color. It was using the same nossle as the tea. My guess is that judging by how dirty the rest of the restaurant was the nossle has never been cleaned and so when you get water from it you also get years of tea residue in your water.
