If you like craft beers, this is the best place in San Jose to try them! They always have several different beers on tap, and also a good variety of bottled beers. Every Tuesday is "Cantina Tuesday", for every beer you buy, you get a tiny Costa Rican "tavern" snack for free, each Tuesday they have a different one. Wednesdays pints go for approx. US$3.5. The place is not large per se, so if you want to find a good spot to sit down, arrive there as early as you can, they open at 6pm. Myself, I prefer the first floor, even if sometimes, depending on how the wind is blowing, you can smell the cigarette smoke from the people on the sidewalk. The food menu is ok, it's the only thing I'd improve, not necessarily making it larger, but change it a bit. The music choice is always great, the volume may be a little bit on the loud side from time to time. It's located in the middle of SJC, the area is not unsafe but I usually take a cab there. The decor is mainly made of recycled things. Oh, btw, their "chiliguaros" are the best in town, you MUST try them! Over all, the place is great and it has a "feel good" thing about it that makes it a cosy joint to which you want to return over...

Read moreIt is what a looks like… a chill dinner in your friend’s back yard. I sat in the patio because there was an event happening for a group in the main floor. It was lovely. I enjoyed a chicken tenders/croquettes appetizer and an empanadas appetizer. I had the IPA (sooo good) and the red ale (which I think is the Black IPA shown in other reviews). The red ale was interesting and I usually like red ales. The IPA hit the spot! Service was a little slow but the waitress was helpful and nice. I really enjoyed the music too… more of a late 80s, early 90s vibe but definitely fine to dance in...
