Earthly Kitchen — Restaurant in Pavas

We got there nearly a half hour after opening and were told the oven wasn’t ready to make pizza, so we ran an errand and came back. We tried the mozz sticks, they were good, the veggie lover pizza was soggy because of the moisture of the many veg and the mushroom pizza was just ok. The pasta carbonara, however, was perfection! Seriously incredible. We wished we would have ordered only the carbonara, it was by far the best item we tried.The tiramisu was also good, not the best, but good. The service was good and the atmosphere was just ok, it is a restaurant in a metal container and the chairs were not comfortable, you can also see the clutter and mess in the kitchen from your seat so that definitely took away from the experience. Love that...

Absolutely loved the food at Earthly Kitchen! Everything is vegan and made from scratch. Chef Suzy puts a lot of her heart and soul into the dishes she prepares. The cheese in the mozzarella sticks and on the pizza melted perfectly and had a lovely texture. The alfredo sauce on the carbonara was the best I've ever had, EVER. And to top it all off, the key lime pie melted in my mouth and had an extraordinary flavor. Chef Suzy is incredibly personable, and really creates a wonderful dining experience. Anyone in search of incredible vegan food in San José must visit...

Our FAVORITE place in San Jose. We live in Uvita de Osa but are often in the area for business. This is our favorite new find. AMAZING vegan food that even a meat-eater would love. The focaccia bread is an amazing entrada, as well as the mozzarella sticks. We have tried the pizza, and it is amazing with the "pepperoni" - but - our FAVORITE is the Pasta Carbonara. It is beyond good. It is wonderful. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. Cute location with good ambience. Easy to Escazu and main highway as well. Dont wait, go check...
