An Unforgettable Stay at Hilton Garden Inn La Sabana
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hilton Garden Inn in La Sabana, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped into the hotel to the moment I checked out, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. First and foremost, the location couldn't have been better. Situated in the heart of La Sabana, the hotel offered breathtaking views of the nearby Sabana Park, which created a serene and picturesque setting. The convenience of being close to popular attractions, restaurants, and shopping centers made exploring the city a breeze. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by the friendly and attentive staff, who made me feel right at home. The check-in process was swift, and the staff was more than willing to answer any questions and provide helpful recommendations for places to visit during my stay. The room was spacious, elegantly decorated, and impeccably clean. The plush bedding ensured a comfortable and restful sleep every night, and the modern amenities, including a flat-screen TV, complimentary Wi-Fi, and a well-equipped workstation, added to the overall convenience and comfort of the room. The restaurant staff was attentive and accommodating, making each mealtime a delightful experience. During my leisure time, I took advantage of the hotel's well-maintained fitness center. It offered a range of exercise equipment, allowing me to keep up with my fitness routine even while traveling. Additionally, the hotel's rooftop pool offered a refreshing escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, with its relaxing atmosphere and stunning views. In conclusion, my experience at the Hilton Garden Inn La Sabana was simply exceptional. From the prime location to the warm and welcoming staff, every aspect of my stay was memorable and enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting La Sabana and looking for a top-notch accommodation experience. I certainly plan to return in the future for another...
Read moreI stay at the Hilton Garden Inn San José, Costa Rica often, and overall, it’s a fine hotel. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. However, there are a few ongoing issues that management seems to have little interest in addressing.||First, if you’re booking a room, be aware that odd-numbered rooms are much better—they get more natural light and have a nicer view. The even-numbered rooms face the back of the hotel, which means they’re darker and offer a much less appealing view.||The biggest downside, though, is the pool has been out of service for months with no sign of reopening. There’s no clear explanation from the hotel, and it’s frustrating that something so basic remains unavailable for such a long time.||The gym is another problem—all of the treadmills are broken. One still works, but the incline function doesn’t, and the rest are completely out of service. This has been the case for a long time, yet nothing has been done to fix them.||They do offer access to a nearby hotel’s facilities as a workaround, but that’s hardly convenient, especially if you just want a quick workout or a swim.||It’s a shame because this could be a great hotel if they just addressed these ongoing maintenance issues. Until then, if you rely on gym or pool facilities, be prepared for...
Read moreThe staff was extremely attentive and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. For example, I stopped by the convenience store by the desk to pick up something to drink for my wife and myself (I had picked up takeout dinner from the Smashburger located on the ground floor of the building the hotel is in). I noticed they had bottles of wine, so I grabbed one as well as two wine glasses, some real cultery for my wife's salad, a couple of bottles of water and a soda. Great! They had everything I needed. Now how to get it all to the room? I started stuffing my pockets, and the desk clerk asked me to wait a moment and went and got a large tray for me to use. He then helped me over to the elevator, pressed my floor button and offered to help me all the way to my room, but I wouldn't let him telling him that he had been more than helpful enough. My wife wanted to get a Mani/Pedi and another clerk helped her with an appointment at a spot within walking distance of the hotel. I am Hilton Honors lifetime Diamond level, so I am a bit biased on the chain. I am also lifetime Platinum Elite for Marriott, so not that biased. But this particular hotel is a 4-star anywhere else in the world. Big comfortable rooms, beautiful appointments, excellent amenities, top notch service. We will...
