Spoon Laureles — Restaurant in San Rafael

Stopped by two Spoons restaurants yesterday simply trying to get a protein smoothie--Escazu Village and this one. Escazu Village had no smoothies, and this location could only make the last smoothie on the menu--a green smoothie I don't know the name of, but it was SO bland. I also ordered a piece of chocolate cake. It was dry as a paper towel and had no flavor. I took two bites and threw that nasty mess in the garbage....

I went there twice and couldn't get table service.

I went inside ordered a double espresso and the cashier acted like she didn't umderstand english.

Translation in spanish: espresso double.

Once is a mistake....t twice is a coincidence...I won't allow a third event.

I'm not a pushy US citizen....wanting to be waited on...

The latte was good and they had plenty of seating available but service was very strange here and their chocolate cake tasted like a Gansito cake. They have Wi-Fi but the Wi-Fi info listed on the napkin holder was incorrect. Mocapan Escazu is a...
